1. Introduction

Live Radio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("Live Radio - FM & AM Stations", package: com.ycwls.lr).

Our app is completely free, contains no advertisements, and has no in-app purchases. You can use all core features without creating an account or providing any personal information.

We do NOT collect: contacts, photos, files, calendar, SMS, call logs, biometric data, health data, or financial information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Account functionality: Email and name are used solely to identify your account when you choose to sign in with Google.
Anonymous analytics: Device ID, playback events, language, device model, and location data are used in aggregate to improve station rankings, recommendations, and app performance.
Nearby stations: GPS location is processed entirely on your device to find nearby radio stations. It is never transmitted to our servers.
Personalization: Favorites and play history are stored locally on your device to provide a personalized experience without requiring an account.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in, Google processes your authentication. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Radio stream content: When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station's streaming server. Those servers may log your IP address as part of standard streaming protocol.
Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage & Security

Server data is stored on cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Local data on your device (favorites, history, settings) is stored using Hive, a secure local database.

While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Account data: Retained until you request deletion.
Anonymous analytics: Retained for up to 12 months for trending analysis.
Local data: Stored on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent (e.g., sign out of Google account)
Object to processing of your data
Data portability

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

Our servers may be located in different countries. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to servers outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
